Here's what our parents are saying about their kid's time with PYT

Dear Katrina, Trevor and the PYT Team

Thank you for providing an amazing experience for Emily last week. My only complaint is that it is taking a while for her to get used to ‘normal’ days again without Theatre School :-)

From the first morning when I dropped her off, I was very impressed with the organisation and the ‘fun but no-nonsense’ attitude. The performance on the Friday night was very enjoyable...from the script to the acting, singing and dancing, and the way you involved all the children. Our whole family still burst out laughing when anyone starts quoting the show. Of course, it was extra special for Emily getting the opportunity to sing her favourite song of all time … what a boost for her confidence.

It’s also good to see such a wide age-range of children interacting together so well. Emily actually commented how helpful and kind Tara was (the girl who was nominated for the award) and how good she was with the little ones… what a great role model.

Well done for your passion and professionalism, much appreciated!

Hi Katrina and Trevor

Thank you once again for a fantastic production tonight.
Dan and I feel very lucky to have stumbled across your holiday classes for kids all those years ago. We have seen our child Ruby grow and develop in your classes. But we have also had the pleasure of watching many other PYT kids grow and develop in the arts.

The skills Ruby has gained in these productions are not only about the arts but also organisation, team work, friendship, hardwork, discipline, fun, respect and being nice to your parents to get you from A to B.

Thank you so so so much

Keep up the good work and great ideas
— Bronwyn Ahern
I just wanted to say a big thank you for what I think was an awesome program for kids. Lucia had the time of her life and I thought it was so well organised and the end production was amazing. We would definitely be interested in doing another one. Kindest regards and hope you are now getting a little rest.
— Liz
Just another quick email to thank you both, once again for another amazing performance. All of the cast, crew and both of you must have worked so hard to put together such a polished and truly enjoyable performance in such a short space of time - it never ceases to amaze me. Maddy, once again had an absolute ball and that, to us as parents, is all that really matters. I will be signing her up for Drama and Glee once again.
— Janine Batten
I wanted to email you to congratulate you and Trevor on an AMAZING production last Friday! Jevan had the best time and is still singing the songs... he just got so much out of it.. so thank you for your kindness and generosity... I will be sure to sign him up for future performances.
— Roz Collins
Hi Katrina and Trevor
Just to let you know our daughter, Emilia, had a fab time at the Wizard of Oz show and has not stopped singing the songs since.

Hi Katrina and Trevor,
Just wanted to say that I thought you both did an amazing job with the Blues Brothers, Soul Sisters theatre school and performance. The show was so entertaining, I still smile thinking about it :) It was both Haidee’s and Geordie’s first experience in such a production and although they really felt the work load, they rose to the challenge and were so proud of their efforts. I took two of their friends to watch and they were so impressed that I now have every seat in the car accounted for when we come down for the next school holidays production.
Thanks for a great week. We are looking forward to seeing the photos.
Best regards,
— Dixie Bartle
I just want to let you know what a fabulous time Ella Mae had last week in the Alice in Wonderland week. It’s the first time she’s taken part in anything like this and she loved it!!.
— Lesley
Hi Trevor & Katrina,
Thank you for pointing my girls towards performing. This is especially the case for Genevieve who is doing her bachelor in classical voice at WAPPA and just loves to sing. I think her time spent with you was very formative and helpful greatly with the direction she is now heading. She may just be lucky enough to make a career of becoming an opera singer. Thank you for the many special times the girls had with you.
Kind Regards
— John

Trevor Patient, Director / Technical

Trevor has produced and directed numerous shows, plays, revues, tours, pantomimes and theatre schools over the last 25 years (he lost count at 400) and considers himself very lucky to be both technically minded as well as creative.
